SSP High School Equipment Grant

The Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh (SSP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of science education. Spectroscopy generally deals with light and color interference and diffraction phenomena, line spectra, spectrophotometry and chemical analysis. This grant is to help foster the study of spectroscopy in high schools. Annually teachers are encouraged to submit proposals for equipment and supplies to accomplish this. Typically 50% of the proposals are funded.
